4/5/2011 The telephone was one of the few things working at Carl Foesch's south Charlotte home Tuesday morning. Heavy winds from an early morning thunderstorm toppled a large yellow poplar onto his home on Valley Forge Rd. Foesch remarked, "We went from a ranch house to a tree house!"
